TL;DR

Data Engineer (AdTech): Building and maintaining data infrastructure to transform raw financial data into actionable insights with an accent on scalable data models and reliable pipelines. Focus on designing data architectures using BigQuery, dbt, and Airflow to support global financial operations.

Location: Ljubljana, Slovenia (Hybrid: 2 days remote per week). Relocation package available.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and finance teams to define data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and extendable data models.
  • Develop reliable data pipelines to collect, process, and store data from diverse sources.
  • Implement data quality checks and monitoring systems to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports for key financial metrics such as revenue, usage, and cost.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in data engineering, BI, or analytics engineering, preferably in finance or customer management.
  • Strong expertise in SQL and the Google data stack (BigQuery, Looker).
  • Experience using dbt and orchestration platforms like Apache Airflow.
  • Good knowledge of Python for data-related tasks.
  • Proficiency in building dashboards and managing client-facing technical projects.
  • CV must be submitted in English.

Nice to have

  • Experience in the Ad-Tech industry.
  • Experience in Finance or Accounting operations.
  • Proficiency in Java and/or Scala.
