What you will do

• Design and implement scalable architecture and core mobile features for a new social media platform.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver intuitive, high-quality user experiences.
• Optimize Android application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Develop content creation tools, including video editing and interactive features.
• Maintain high engineering standards and ship reliable code in fast iteration cycles.

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of native Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.
• Deep understanding of Android SDK and modern architecture patterns.
• Experience debugging and maintaining large-scale mobile codebases.
• Knowledge of performance optimization and Android platform capabilities.

Nice to have

• Experience building consumer-facing mobile products at scale.
• Experience with video editing, media processing, or UGC platforms.
• Knowledge of real-time messaging, WebSockets, or RTC systems.
• Background in high-growth tech companies and 0→1 environments.
