What you will do

• Assume sole responsibility for assigned mechanical engineering work as per project scope.
• Perform conceptual, FEED, and detailed engineering and design based on design basis, project specifications, and design codes.
• Prepare Mechanical Data Sheets and Equipment Specifications.
• Manage Material Requisitions for inquiry and purchase.
• Conduct Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE) and Vendor Document Reviews (VDR).
• Attend progress and design review meetings, as well as clarification meetings with the client.

Requirements

• Professional Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 15+ years of experience in oil and gas with major contractors or consultants.
• Proficiency in relevant design and analysis software.
• Expertise in international standards such as API 610, API 675, API 618, ISO 5199, and ASME Sec. VIII.
• Knowledge of packages including Vapour Recovery Units, DM Plants, N2 Generation, and Waste Water Treatment.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Qatar.

Nice to have

• Past experience with QatarEnergy, Shell DEP, and Tank Terminal projects.
• MMUP Certification.
