Location: Vienna, Austria; office-based with up to 40% remote work possible

Salary: Gross €4,819.51 per month minimum; market-based salary depending on qualifications and experience.

What you will do

  • Own and continuously develop international Engineering Lines insurance programs for complex large-scale and consortium projects.
  • Design and place tailored insurance solutions on international markets.
  • Negotiate premiums, terms, conditions, and deductibles with insurers.
  • Advise project teams, sales, and legal departments on insurance, liability, contractual matters, and project-related risks.
  • Manage complex claims and coordinate with insurers, brokers, loss adjusters, legal advisors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Improve insurance processes, standards, and governance while maintaining an international partner network.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in insurance management, civil or mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, law with a focus on insurance law, or relevant commercial education.
  • Several years of relevant experience in industrial or project insurance, ideally in engineering or construction.
  • Strong understanding of technical project risks and international insurance programs.
  • Structured, solution-oriented, independent, analytical, and negotiation-focused working style.
  • Excellent communication skills, proficiency in MS Office, and very good English language skills.
  • Willingness to travel worldwide; German is advantageous.

  • Experience in the engineering or construction sector.
  • German or additional foreign-language skills.
