TL;DR

Infrastructure Developer (OpenStack/Kubernetes): Designing and enhancing internal infrastructure management systems to power large-scale compute platforms with an accent on scaling, reliability, and automation. Focus on building custom Kubernetes operators, automating bare metal provisioning, and integrating OpenStack private clouds.

Location: Must be based in Bangkok, Thailand (Onsite)

What you will do

  • Design and implement enhancements for the self-built infrastructure management system.
  • Solve challenges related to the scaling, reliability, and automation of a platform running over 25,000 server instances.
  • Work with OpenStack, Kubernetes, and OpenTelemetry to optimize infrastructure.
  • Build and maintain the foundational infrastructure layer powering all services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related fields (fresh graduates welcome).
  • Programming experience in Python or Go (academic or professional).
  • Basic knowledge of Git and Docker ecosystems.
  • Comfortable working in Linux command line and Bash scripting.
  • Working language: English.
  • Must be based in Bangkok, Thailand for a 6-month contract.

Nice to have

  • Experience with CI/CD systems such as GitLab or GitHub Actions.
  • Expertise in managing and optimizing Kubernetes clusters or OpenStack environments.
  • Advanced Docker knowledge, including multi-stage builds and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with hardware management APIs like Redfish, ILO, or DRAC.
  • Knowledge of large-scale physical architecture and fault-tolerant systems.
