What you will do

• Manage end-to-end employee queries regarding leave, pay, and policy via phone and email.
• Provide high-quality, proactive advice to people leaders to support confident decision-making.
• Interpret and apply individual and collective employment agreements.
• Solve complex HR problems while balancing risk, compliance, and employee experience.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of new people initiatives and technology.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HR practitioner in a shared services or fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of employment legislation and experience working in a unionised environment.
• Demonstrated skill in interpreting and providing guidance on collective agreements.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and balance risk with a positive employee experience.
• Excellent communication skills with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
