TL;DR

What you will do

  • Provide strategic technical direction for the design and scale-up of integrated RMNCAH interventions.
  • Oversee health systems strengthening, quality improvement activities, and clinical audits.
  • Guide capacity-building efforts including mentorship, coaching, and clinical attachments for healthcare providers.
  • Represent the organization in national and regional technical working groups and coordination forums.
  • Strengthen referral linkages and emergency obstetric care pathways across facility and community levels.
  • Lead periodic technical reviews and document program innovations and best practices.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in Medicine, Nursing, or Public Health required (Master’s in Obstetrics and Gynecology preferred).
  • At least 10 years of senior-level experience leading RMNCAH programs.
  • Proven experience working with government health systems and Regional/Council Health Management Teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise in quality improvement approaches like MPDSR and facility readiness assessments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data for decision-making and program performance monitoring.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to project-supported sites in Mwanza Region.
