TL;DR
Technical & Integration Solution Specialistecialist (Mobile Networks): Supporting the integration, validation, and launch of new mobile network systems, products, and services with an accent on packet core technologies, test architecture, and delivery quality. Focus on analysing low-level traces, designing test automation frameworks, defining lab environment strategies, and shaping testing methodologies for new platforms.
Location: London or Bristol, United Kingdom; hybrid working with three office days per week

What you will do
- Support the integration, validation, and technical and commercial launch of new systems, products, services, and mobile network technologies.
- Create test architecture elements within overall solution designs and act as a Test Architect for new platforms and services.
- Analyse low-level traces, identify issues, and recommend appropriate resolutions.
- Design and develop test automation frameworks with Test Automation teams to increase coverage across deliveries.
- Define environment strategies for mobile network and IT test environments, including live-reflective and future releases in the lab.
- Provide technical guidance, documentation, training, and coaching to testing teams and business functions.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with packet core nodes and strong mobile network knowledge.
- Knowledge of 5G standalone architecture, including AMF, SMF, UPF, SBA, and HTTP/2 API services.
- Experience with Evolved Packet Core, GSM and UMTS architectures, circuit-switched voice and messaging, and authentication, policy control, and charging mechanisms.
- Knowledge of cloud architectures and network function virtualisation, including EMS, VNF, NFVI, OSS, and MANO.
- Experience with monitoring, tracing, and testing tools such as Wireshark, Netscout, Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Kubernetes, and Ericsson CNOM.
- Ability to define effective test architectures and delivery methodologies and collaborate with internal, external, and supplier stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with automation test frameworks and tools such as SEGRON, Spirent, and Landslide.
- Experience supporting data-driven teams in a fast-moving technical and business environment.
