TL;DR

Staff Product Manager (Pricing): Driving the strategic evolution of pricing systems for a high-growth group transportation marketplace with an accent on marketplace dynamics, unit economics, and supply-side optimization. Focus on building scalable pricing infrastructure, collaborating with data science to run experiments, and translating complex system requirements into high-impact product roadmaps.

Location: Must be based in the U.S. (specifically in one of the 19 approved states). This role is hybrid with required in-office presence in Austin, TX (Mon, Wed, Fri).

Salary: $185,000–$220,000 USD

What you will do

  • Define and own the vision and multi-quarter roadmap for pricing systems.
  • Partner with engineering to improve pricing infrastructure, accuracy, and transparency.
  • Analyze operator behavior and pricing dynamics to inform system design.
  • Translate strategic goals into detailed requirements, user stories, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with data science to instrument outcomes and design pricing experiments.
  • Communicate strategy and progress to executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management experience in complex, systems-level domains.
  • Must reside in one of the 19 approved U.S. states (AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, HI, MS, MO, NC, NH, NV, NY, OK, SD, TN, TX, UT, WA, WY).
  • Experience with marketplaces, pricing, or supply/demand infrastructure.
  • Ability to read SQL output and interpret model results to drive product decisions.
  • Strong technical acumen to engage with engineers on architecture and trade-offs.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity within a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
