What you will do

• Upgrade Kubernetes clusters and Teleport to current supported versions across all environments.
• Perform version upgrades for Redis and PostgreSQL (target 16.x).
• Update DevOps repositories using Terraform, Lambda, and related tooling.
• Standardize Karpenter configurations for cost optimization and correct Kubernetes internal IP ranges.
• Implement NewRelic agent upgrade strategies and deprecate unused AWS resources.
• Ensure reliable DB access via bastion EC2 instances as a fallback.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure in production environments.
• Strong proficiency in Kubernetes cluster operations, networking, and upgrades.
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices.
• Familiarity with Teleport (zero-trust access) and Karpenter (autoscaling).
• Proven experience upgrading managed or self-hosted PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Experience with NewRelic or similar observability platforms.
