What you will do

  • Design innovative math models and concepts for new poker machine games to maximize player appeal.
  • Perform all mathematical calculations, including payback percentages, hit frequencies, and standard deviations.
  • Develop custom programming tools to verify math models and analyze gameplay metrics.
  • Prepare and review complex Excel spreadsheets for regulatory submission.
  • Collaborate with regulatory agencies to resolve math-related compliance issues.
  • Improve existing mathematical methods and develop new ones for game design.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a strong mathematical component, focusing on probability and statistics.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, specifically using linking and formulas for complex probabilistic events.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain complex math to non-experts.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain gaming licenses, undergo background investigations, and security checks.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience or knowledge of the gaming industry.
  • Intermediate programming skills in C++, C#, Python, Unity, or similar languages.
