What you will do

• Conduct chemical tests and analyze data in strict compliance with ISO 17025:2017.
• Manage the receipt and registration of test items and maintain overall laboratory housekeeping.
• Perform timely maintenance, verification, and calibration of analytical instrumentation.
• Ensure complete documentation and traceability within the Quality Management System.
• Participate in routine proficiency testing (PT/ILC) to validate technical competence.
• Collaborate with the Laboratory and Technical Managers to prioritize projects and studies.

Requirements

• National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry.
• Sound knowledge of analytical chemistry and experience with emission spectroscopy, specifically ICP-OES.
• Experience with sample preparation using microwave digestion.
• Working knowledge of ISO 17025:2017 standards.
• Must be based in or have the legal right to work in Pretoria, South Africa.
• Ability to maintain high productivity and composure in a fast-paced work environment.
