What you will do

• Manage project financial management for Play Matters, including grant and operating budget preparation and treasury management.
• Monitor project budgets and monthly spending plans, providing detailed variance analysis and justifications.
• Prepare and submit quarterly financial reports to donors and ensure all transactions have complete and approved documentation.
• Conduct financial verification of assigned partners and provide capacity building on budgeting and internal controls.
• Coordinate audit planning, execution, and the implementation of corrective action plans based on audit findings.
• Ensure all budgeting and grant management practices comply with global IRC policies and South Sudanese government regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, Commerce, or Finance.
• Professional accounting certification (CPA or equivalent preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience and 1 year of direct supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal) is required for all staff communication.
• Experience with financial software and spreadsheets.
• Willingness to work under challenging security and living conditions in Juba, South Sudan.
