What you will do

• Manage a team of journalists in Abuja to produce high-quality multiplatform content.
• Oversee the production and delivery of digital, social, TV, and radio programmes.
• Develop and execute social media strategy and publishing grids for Dars Hausa.
• Commission stories and brief presenters, producers, and VJs while ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure all content is fact-checked, legally clear, and compliant with hirify.global editorial policies.
• Collaborate with education consultants and internal service colleagues to maintain high journalistic standards.

Requirements

• Fluency in Modern Standard Hausa and English (written and spoken) is essential.
• Proven ability to translate accurately between Hausa and English.
• Demonstrable experience in scripting, filming, producing, and editing high-quality digital video.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in resource management and team motivation.
• Sound editorial judgment and understanding of child safeguarding guidelines.
• Must have the legal right to work in Nigeria and completed the NYSC or hold a valid certificate of exemption.
