What you will do

• Translate English content into Hausa ensuring clarity, cultural relevance, and a native tone.
• Produce engaging scripts for digital videos, social media, and TV packages.
• Research, write, and edit content using professional video and audio platforms.
• Present content for TV and social media in a manner that connects with younger audiences.
• Apply editorial judgment to develop impartial stories following hirify.global editorial guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize content reach and avoid duplication.

Requirements

• Fluency in Modern Standard Hausa and English with strong translation skills.
• Proven experience writing multi-platform scripts in Hausa for young audiences.
• Strong presentation skills for digital video, TV, and audio.
• Up-to-date knowledge of digital video trends and platform requirements.
• Legal right to work in Nigeria and completion of NYSC/exemption certificate.
• Proven ability to work effectively in multicultural and diverse team environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with social media analytics and growth strategies for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and X.
• Proficiency in video editing using FCPx, QEdit, or plugins like After Effects.
• Experience creating specific educational or teaching content.
