TL;DR

Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (SaaS): Testing and ensuring the quality of a web-based data backup and recovery platform with an accent on enterprise application testing and API validation. Focus on executing white-box and black-box testing, mentoring junior engineers, and developing automation test cases to improve productivity.

Location: Hybrid in Bandung, Indonesia (at least 2 days per week in the office). This position is NOT eligible for visa sponsorship.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with Product Managers to define quality strategies and build comprehensive test cases.
  • Perform system, integration, functional, and regression testing using white-box and black-box methodologies.
  • Document bugs meticulously and coordinate with engineers to drive fixes to closure.
  • Mentor junior engineers and lead quality process improvements.
  • Create automation test cases and manage test suites using industry-standard tools.
  • Validate tier-3 support escalations to track bug leakage and ensure priority fixes.

Requirements

  • 7 to 10 years of experience as a Quality Engineer or Analyst.
  • Proven expertise in testing complex enterprise web applications and Backend APIs.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Cloud technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience using test management tools like practi-test.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in a Lead or People Manager role.
  • Scripting skills in Python or Bash.
  • Experience with automation tools like Selenium.
  • Knowledge of performance benchmarking and testing.
  • Experience working with global, international teams.
