Engineering Lead

TL;DR

Engineering Lead: Leading engineering delivery and team growth to scale the Dropsuite platform with an accent on performance, reliability, and SLA adherence. Focus on hands-on engineering leadership through architecture-aligned design, rigorous code reviews, and PoC-driven improvements for the backup engine platform.

Location: Hybrid | Bandung, Indonesia (at least 2 days per week in the office)

What you will do

• Collaborate with Product Manager and Architect to deliver features on schedule and align engineering execution with platform architecture.
• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of 5+ engineers, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Oversee development and maintenance of the Dropsuite platform, focusing on performance, scalability, and service quality.
• Run thorough design and code reviews to enforce code standards and best practices.
• Drive innovation via PoCs to enhance functionality and performance of the backup engine platform.
• Create project plans, provide estimations, and manage stakeholder expectations across the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years in a leadership role managing teams of 5+.
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns and principles.
• Experience with API architecture styles, especially RESTful and GraphQL (advantage).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience using Jira (preferred).
• English: excellent verbal and written communication skills.
