What you will do

• Build a microLED-based optical communication experimental setup.
• Develop supporting hardware and software for setup control using PC, Matlab, and FPGA.
• Implement various modulation schemes including IM/DD and OFDM.
• Conduct experiments and document technical results.
• Collaborate with an international team within the Analog Competence Center.

Requirements

• Must be a registered Bachelor of Science student (final year of Hogeschool) in electrical engineering or physics.
• Must maintain student status for the entire duration of the internship.
• Experience with FPGA-based design and prototyping.
• Proficiency or affinity with Python and Matlab.
• Experience building and controlling experimental hardware setups.
• English: B2 level required for meetings, presentations, and documentation.
