What you will do
- Run simulations and verifications in Cadence Virtuoso and iteratively refine/debug layouts with the designer until designs meet specifications.
- Own the full analog development cycle: floorplan, layout, verification, delivery, and support.
- Deliver high-speed or precision analog circuits, including work across multiple process nodes (preferred).
- Assume increasing responsibility from cells to functional blocks, higher-level macros, and full interfaces or chips.
- Provide clear status updates and present issues/solutions to global teams across different time zones.
- Participate in project lifecycle meetings and act as a technical mentor to the layout and broader project teams.
Requirements
- Fundamental understanding of electrical concepts, typically via a degree in Electrical Engineering (graduate or undergraduate).
- Proficiency with CAD tools to implement microelectronic layers beyond schematics.
- Proven track record delivering high-speed or precision analog circuits, preferably across multiple process nodes.
- Ability to take ownership through the full development cycle: floorplan, layout, verification, delivery, and support.
- Strong communication skills for status updates, presentations to global teams, and information sharing across different levels of personnel.
