What you will do

• Lead the development of large-scale backend features for a new unannounced MMO project.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to backend team members.
• Analyze and resolve technical bottlenecks to improve system scalability and maintainability.
• Enforce best practices for code quality and distributed architecture.
• Collaborate with Design and Product teams to define technical roadmaps and initiatives.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Requirements

• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Barcelona, Spain.
• Extensive experience in software development for high-traffic systems or large-scale MMO games.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, and C#.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture, cloud-native development, and container orchestration.
• Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring engineers.
• Strong collaboration skills within cross-functional teams.
