Location: Remote, Peru

Salary: $8–$65 per hour, with the final rate based on experience, expertise, and geographic location.

What you will do

• Converse with AI models in Andean Spanish across a broad range of topics.
• Evaluate grammar, orthography, regionalisms, intonation, idiomatic expressions, and cultural references.
• Test contextual interpretation, tone adaptation, syntactic accuracy, and semantic precision.
• Document reproducible model failure modes and capture detailed error traces.
• Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and language-model evaluation metrics.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of Andean Spanish associated with Peru, Bolivia, and Ecuador.
• Strong understanding of regional grammar, vocabulary, phonetics, cultural nuance, and linguistic conventions.
• Clear metacognitive communication and the ability to explain linguistic reasoning.
• Professional experience in teaching, translation, localization, or editorial work is relevant.
• A secure computer and high-speed internet are required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Linguistics, Translation, Spanish Language, Literature, or a related field.
