What you will do
- Converse with advanced language models in Quechua across a wide range of topics.
- Evaluate vocabulary, grammar, dialectical variations, phonetics, syntax, idiomatic expressions, and cultural references.
- Verify linguistic accuracy, contextual interpretation, tone, meaning, and cultural relevance.
- Document reproducible model error traces and failure modes.
- Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and language-model evaluation metrics.
Requirements
- Quechua language expertise is required, including knowledge of regional dialects and cultural context.
- Experience in teaching, translation, language documentation, or community work.
- Clear metacognitive communication and the ability to explain reasoning and linguistic judgments.
- A Master's degree in Linguistics, Indigenous Studies, Translation, or a related field is ideal.
- Must be based in Peru for this remote contract role.
