Nahuatl Language Specialist - AI Trainer (AI)

Location: Mexico; remote workplace

Salary: $8–$65 per hour, with the final rate based on experience, expertise, and geographic location.

What you will do

• Converse with advanced language models in Nahuatl across a broad range of topics.
• Verify vocabulary, grammar, phonetics, syntax, dialectal distinctions, idiomatic expressions, and cultural relevance.
• Evaluate contextual interpretation, tone, meaning, semantic accuracy, and cultural nuance.
• Document reproducible model failures and error patterns.
• Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of Nahuatl, including regional dialects, oral traditions, and cultural references.
• Clear metacognitive communication and the ability to explain linguistic reasoning.
• Secure computer and high-speed internet for contract work.
• Experience in teaching, translation, language documentation, or community work is relevant.

Nice to have

• Degree in Linguistics, Indigenous Studies, Translation, or a related field.
