Graduate Talent (VDI & Media AI Systems Engineering): Building and validating Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and Media AI workloads on Xeon CPU platforms and GPU-enabled environments with an accent on automated benchmarking, inference performance evaluation, and CPU/GPU resource utilization. Focus on developing PoCs, creating automation and AI service pipelines, and debugging distributed system and application issues while producing reproducible performance documentation.

What you will do
- Optimize VDI performance on server CPU platforms using automated benchmarking and performance analysis.
- Develop and evaluate AI workloads in cloud AI PC environments, focusing on inference performance and CPU/GPU utilization.
- Support Media AI PoCs, including server CPU and data center GPU-accelerated AI inferencing for content creation, rendering, media processing, and video analytics.
- Create automation, data collection, and AI service pipelines while debugging system and application issues across distributed environments.
- Write professional documentation to communicate performance insights and enable reproducible testing.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python (preferred) or C/C++.
- Basic knowledge of Linux and Windows.
- Basic knowledge of virtualization (VDI, hypervisors) and system performance concepts (CPU, memory, I/O).
- Ability to work across physical lab and remote environments.
Nice to have
- Experience with benchmarking and AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Transformers).
- Experience with AI workloads (Vision-Language Models, Generative AI, Agentic AI) and GPU programming/CUDA-based workloads.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), containerization, and APIs (REST, service-based architectures).
- Knowledge of architecture ( Xeon, AMX) and profiling tools (e.g., VTune Profiler).
