What you will do

• Converse with AI models in Mapudungun across diverse topics to test linguistic and cultural accuracy.
• Identify and document failure modes in model reasoning, including semantic and dialectical errors.
• Verify the cultural relevance and idiomatic correctness of model outputs.
• Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics based on linguistic expertise.
• Provide clear, metacognitive documentation of linguistic analysis and error traces.

Requirements

• Native or near-native proficiency in Mapudungun with deep knowledge of regional dialects, phonetics, and syntax.
• Strong understanding of Mapudungun oral traditions, cultural references, and idiomatic expressions.
• Ability to provide clear, analytical communication regarding linguistic nuances.
• Must be based in Chile.
