What you will do

  • Develop and refine predictive wear and performance models using FEA and statistical analysis.
  • Collaborate with laboratory and testing teams to correlate simulation results with real-world data.
  • Partner with design teams to optimize tread patterns while balancing noise, handling, and durability.
  • Support tire and vehicle system evaluations through advanced modeling and testing.
  • Work with OEMs and academic partners to advance virtual development processes.
  • Communicate technical findings to stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in tire wear, design, or contact mechanics.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as MATLAB, Python, SAS JMP, or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with vehicle simulation tools like VI-Grade, IPG CarMaker, or CarSim.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Effective communication skills for working across diverse cross-functional teams.
