What you will do

• Process payroll including wage, overtime, bonus, and separation payments.
• Ensure compliance with Tunisia Labour Laws and local regulations.
• Reconcile payroll data, prepare general ledger entries, and balance payroll reports.
• Maintain employee confidence by securing sensitive and confidential payroll information.
• Interface with HR and Finance to resolve discrepancies and support internal/external audits.
• Manage payroll inquiries regarding taxes, deductions, and year-end statements.

Requirements

• Must be based in Sfax, Tunisia
• 2+ years of experience in Tunisia payroll processing or a BS degree in Accounting/Finance.
• Basic knowledge of payroll tax, regulations, and benefits accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for internal stakeholder collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with Sage payroll software, Workday HRMS, or Accurtime.
• Knowledge of AIPAIE systems.
