TL;DR

Customer Service Engineer (AI/Numerical Simulation): Providing technical support and software validation for Odyssee solutions with an accent on machine learning and finite element analysis. Focus on troubleshooting customer issues, developing automated test scripts, and collaborating with product teams to ensure high-quality software releases.

Location: Must be based in or able to work from Mont-Saint-Guibert, Belgium (Hybrid role).

What you will do

  • Provide technical support and training to customers using Odyssee solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to demonstrate technology value through presentations and benchmarks.
  • Develop and maintain test cases for new features and bug fixes.
  • Contribute to the design of automated test scenarios and scripts.
  • Maintain test environments on Windows and Linux platforms.
  • Capture customer feedback and communicate enhancement requests to Product Management.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Engineering with an emphasis on AI and numerical simulation.
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of machine learning concepts and neural networks.
  • Knowledge of finite element analysis (FEA) technologies.
  • Comfort working in Windows and Linux environments.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Python, PowerShell, JIRA, and Azure DevOps.

Nice to have

  • Experience providing technical support for engineering software.
  • Experience working as a presales engineer for engineering software.
  • Familiarity with tools like Marc, Nastran, Abaqus, or LS-Dyna.
