What you will do

• Design end-to-end hardware interaction experiences with firmware and software considerations.
• Own platform-level UX topics such as connectivity, device behaviors, and system interactions.
• Define information architecture and interaction models for complex systems.
• Design complex keyboard layouts across multiple products, operating systems, and regions, producing production-ready layout files.
• Contribute to the hirify.global Design System by defining and documenting platform and product guidelines and aligning design with engineering implementation.
• Collaborate with hardware, engineering, and localization teams to maintain and evolve standards, guidelines, and assets.

Requirements

• Strong experience designing complex consumer hardware products, with a portfolio demonstrating hardware design solutions.
• Strong user-centered design skills and ability to translate work into reusable guidelines.
• Excellent craft in typography, layout, and visual hierarchy, with exceptional attention to detail and production-ready execution.
• Deep understanding of localization challenges, typography, and spatial constraints.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and experience with Figma.
• Experience collaborating closely with engineering and product teams; strong communication and storytelling skills.
