What you will do
- Define and lead SI/PI activities for PCBs, de-embedded structures, and system-level interconnects.
- Develop and refine methodologies for modeling, simulation, and measurement correlation.
- Drive innovation in I/O and channel architectures to improve speed, density, and power noise.
- Collaborate with packaging, system, and validation teams to define test fixtures for silicon characterization.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Perform path-finding research in electromagnetic modeling and PDN optimization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 6+ years of industry experience in SI/PI, EMI, and high-speed design.
- Deep expertise in electromagnetic theory, transmission lines, RF concepts, and analog design.
- Strong background in high-speed SerDes architecture, link optimization, and IEEE 802.3/OIF standards.
- Proficiency with simulation tools such as HFSS, SIwave, ADS, and HSPICE.
- Experience using VNA, probe stations, and measurement calibration.
- Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. export control laws.
