What you will do

• Lead mouse design and development, turning complex human problems into polished, intuitive, and visually compelling solutions.
• Partner with senior leadership to shape the long-term direction of the Mouse Design Team and align design strategy with business objectives.
• Manage key design processes and projects from brief through production builds, maintaining high quality and detail.
• Provide mentorship and thought leadership to the broader design team, fostering curiosity and exceptional craftsmanship.
• Collaborate with engineering, product marketing, and business stakeholders to drive design quality and change across a multidisciplinary environment.

Requirements

• Location: Cork, Ireland (hybrid; base 3 days a week on site)
• 10+ years of relevant Industrial Design experience with a portfolio of successful, high-volume consumer hardware products.
• Exceptional hands-on skills in sketching, visualization, and physical prototyping (including hand-sculpting in foam), with deep knowledge of anthropometrics and ergonomics.
• Expert-level surface CAD proficiency (Rhino, SolidWorks, Alias, Fusion, or Creo Parametric) and Class-A surfacing principles; ability to exchange high-quality 3D files with mechanical engineers.
• Working expertise in CMF and manufacturing, including Materials/Colours/Finishes and Design for Manufacturing, and experience with EVT/DVT/PVT build processes.
• Comfort integrating AI tools into ideation and concept visualization workflows (e.g., Vizcom, Gemini, Magnific).
