What you will do

• Manage relationships with government officials, industry groups, and stakeholders to support tax-free business objectives.
• Coordinate with PA and PR agencies to execute strategic communication plans.
• Monitor government discussions and provide data or insights on overseas tax-free practices.
• Support product management by aligning airport refund operations and kiosk localization with central strategic goals.
• Collaborate with legal and tax teams to define product requirements and tax treatments.
• Educate internal sales teams on central product knowledge to improve merchant communication.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in government relations or public affairs.
• Bilingual proficiency in English (C1+) and Japanese (Native/C2) is mandatory.
• Ability to interpret and analyze Japanese laws and regulations for business impact.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Strong project management skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
