What you will do

• Converse with advanced language models using Xiang language scenarios.
• Evaluate grammar, syntax, morphology, phonology, semantics, pragmatics, and stylistic variation.
• Verify factual accuracy and logical soundness in model responses.
• Document reproducible model failure modes and error traces.
• Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

Requirements

• Native-level Xiang fluency and deep practical knowledge of the language are required.
• Strong understanding of Xiang grammar, syntax, morphology, phonology, semantics, and pragmatics.
• Clear metacognitive communication and the ability to show the reasoning behind evaluations.
• A bachelor's degree in Xiang, linguistics, or a related field is ideal, while teaching, translation, or community-based linguistic experience may substitute.
• Ability to work remotely from Singapore.
