TL;DR

Location: Must be based in Lithuania (Vilnius or remote within the country).

Salary: €28,700–€53,300 per year (applies to candidates in Lithuania).

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain C/C++ components within the platform.
  • Contribute to core database performance improvements.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues with guidance from senior engineers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system scalability and reliability.
  • Support system-level functionality including concurrency and memory management.
  • Work across both Windows and UNIX environments.

Requirements

  • Approximately 2 years of hands-on experience in C/C++ development.
  • Must be based in Lithuania.
  • Basic understanding of database fundamentals such as ACID, indexing, and transactions.
  • Familiarity with operating system concepts including threads, processes, and file systems.
  • Understanding of common data structures and algorithms.
  • General knowledge of networking and security principles.

Nice to have

  • Experience with debugging tools like gdb or Valgrind.
  • Exposure to MultiValue databases.
  • Interest in low-level systems or database internals.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
  • Experience with GCC/Clang toolchains or build systems.
