TL;DR

Performance Test Engineer (QA): Designing and executing complex performance, load, and stress tests for mobile and IoT management solutions with an accent on system bottleneck analysis and resource utilization monitoring. Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Mississauga, Canada (Hybrid)

What you will do

  • Participate in test planning, strategy, and environment setup for non-functional testing.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on performance testing tools like JMeter to create complex scripts.
  • Execute benchmark, load, stress, and endurance tests to verify application behavior.
  • Monitor and analyze CPU, memory, network usage, and database parameters to identify bottlenecks.
  • Facilitate the resolution of performance-related issues by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Publish detailed performance reports and status updates to stakeholders for validation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a STEM-related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in IT performance testing.
  • Solid understanding of cloud computing and application deployment in cloud environments.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks.
  • Proficiency in database concepts, SQL queries, and scripting with PowerShell or batch files.
  • Familiarity with APM tools like Dynatrace or Splunk and security guidelines like OWASP.
