What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain distributed data processing pipelines across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Ensure data is business- or operations-ready by accessing diverse data sources efficiently and reproducibly.
• Collaborate closely with data scientists to support the creation and integration of machine learning models.
• Perform performance and cost estimations for various data use cases.
• Develop and maintain meaningful dashboards for data visualization.

Requirements

• Experience with Big Data, massively scalable databases, and distributed algorithms.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a similar field.
• Fluency in both German and English is required.
• Must be based in or be able to work from Schlieren, Switzerland.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Hadoop, Apache Spark, Hive, Airflow, RDBMS, or NoSQL.
• Knowledge of DevOps, Kubernetes, Java, or .NET.
• Experience with public cloud environments such as AWS, MS Azure, or GCP.
