TL;DR

People Business Partner: Driving global People & Culture strategy and partnering with Senior Management to implement HR processes and pragmatic solutions with an accent on Portuguese labour law and stakeholder engagement. Focus on cross-country collaboration across EMEA and professionalizing strategic people management within the Zühlke Group.

Location: Must be based in Porto, Portugal (Hybrid role with on-site presence required).

What you will do

  • Support the global People & Culture strategy and drive its implementation across the EMEA region.
  • Act as a sparring partner for People Leaders on both operational and strategic HR topics.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and develop pragmatic solutions in cooperation with the business.
  • Proactively drive and further develop annual P&C processes.
  • Collaborate internationally on national and global HR initiatives.
  • Maintain personal contact with stakeholders through regular on-site presence in the Porto office.

Requirements

  • Fluent in Portuguese and English (C1 level required).
  • Degree in HR, law, business administration, or industrial/organizational psychology.
  • Solid knowledge of Portuguese labour law and experience representing HR at a country level.
  • Several years of experience in a complex, international environment, ideally in consulting or professional services.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to act as a strategic partner.
  • Must be able to work on-site in Porto.
