What you will do

• Converse with AI models in Kaqchikel across diverse topics to test linguistic and cultural accuracy.
• Document failure modes and provide detailed feedback on model reasoning.
• Verify dialectical distinctions, syntax, and idiomatic expressions.
• Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.
• Ensure cultural nuance and semantic accuracy in model outputs.

Requirements

• Must be based in Mexico
• Deep expertise in Kaqchikel regional dialects, phonetics, and oral traditions.
• Ability to provide clear, metacognitive communication and document linguistic processes.
• Degree in Linguistics, Indigenous Studies, or Translation is preferred.
• Professional experience in teaching, translation, or language documentation.
• Access to a secure computer and high-speed internet.
