Location: Remote, South Africa
Salary: $8–$65 per hour, with the final rate determined by experience, expertise, and geographic location.

What you will do
- Review and annotate Xhosa training data.
- Evaluate AI-generated Xhosa outputs for accuracy, fluency, grammar, syntax, semantics, style, and cultural appropriateness.
- Identify and document recurring error patterns.
- Refine prompts, evaluation methods, and linguistic guidelines.
- Provide expert feedback to improve language model performance.
Requirements
- Fluency in Xhosa and strong knowledge of Xhosa linguistic and cultural context.
- Professional experience in translation, linguistics, language teaching, editing, or a related field.
- Clear communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Residence or work location in South Africa.
- As a contractor, provide a secure computer and stable internet connection.
