TL;DR

Head of AI: Leading the strategy, governance, and implementation of AI initiatives across global manufacturing segments with an accent on agentic AI architectures and system integration. Focus on building a lean global team, driving measurable value through targeted programs, and embedding AI as a core organizational capability.

Location: Must be based in Espoo, Finland (Hybrid: 4 days per week on-site).

What you will do

  • Drive the company-wide AI roadmap and chair the AI demand governance council.
  • Build and lead a lean global AI team while managing external expert capacity.
  • Govern the transition from IT-validated AI solutions to segment-level adoption.
  • Partner with Global Data & Analytics to ensure robust data foundations.
  • Manage relationships with business platform partners and oversee AI-related consulting engagements.
  • Develop investment cases with quantified value and clear risk framing for board-level review.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Proven track record in delivering AI programs in complex, multi-site industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Technical credibility in agentic AI architectures, process workflow design, and data management.
  • Experience navigating large-scale transformation programs and managing cross-functional dynamics.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Ability to work on-site in Espoo, Finland (4 days per week).
