AXIS OS Senior Software Engineer - Security, Lund

Location: Lund, Sweden; full-time, permanent employment.

What you will do

• Develop end-to-end security features for AXIS OS in an embedded Linux user-space environment.
• Evaluate, review, configure, integrate, and test open-source components.
• Design security solutions, perform threat modelling, program, review, document, and test code.
• Work across AXIS OS with teams throughout the organization to turn evolving security requirements into reliable solutions.
• Share security knowledge and competence with other teams and colleagues.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience as a software engineer and experienced C development.
• Strong knowledge of Linux user space, including systemd and D-Bus.
• More than familiarity with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and how it works.
• Ability to learn and adopt new technologies and tools as needed.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Curiosity, willingness to learn, and an interest in solving problems collaboratively.
