What you will do

• Collaborate with feature owners and game designers to implement new gameplay features.
• Develop networked communications between game clients and server infrastructure.
• Design and maintain high-performance, scalable game server tools and libraries.
• Write automated tests and work with QA to improve gameplay and prevent exploits.
• Create internal tools to empower liveops and game design teams.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United Kingdom
• 3+ years of professional experience in game development or relevant engineering.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, concurrency, and design patterns.
• Mastery of Unity and C# or another object-oriented language.
• Experience with cloud computing (AWS, GCP) and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of Unix-like operating systems and database systems like Redis.

Nice to have

• Experience with highly available back-end systems.
• Proficiency with Docker, Terraform, Kibana, Chef, or Ansible.
