What you will do

• Provide hands-on guidance to ensure teams design and build secure, resilient, and compliant systems.
• Conduct security assessments across infrastructure, applications, data, and AI/ML models.
• Translate complex security standards into developer-friendly best practices.
• Partner with software engineers, SREs, and platform teams to embed security into the full development lifecycle.
• Assess emerging technologies and security threats to provide actionable guidance.
• Contribute to automation and continuous improvement of security engineering processes.

Requirements

• Strong IT experience with Azure pipelines, Kubernetes, Linux/Windows, and database solutions like Oracle, MSSQL, or Cassandra.
• Solid understanding of general IT security concepts including secure design, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.
• Proven track record in security assessments, reporting, and remediation support.
• Ability to explain complex security topics in a clear and pragmatic way.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset to help build a new multinational team.
