Korean Translator - Freelance AI Trainer Project (AI)

Location: Remote, South Korea

Salary: $6–$65 per hour, with the final rate based on experience, expertise, and geographic location.

What you will do

• Evaluate and edit AI-generated translations between Korean and English in both directions.
• Assess grammatical accuracy, fluency, cultural nuance, and context sensitivity.
• Annotate translation errors and document model failures.
• Provide cultural and contextual explanations for translation decisions.
• Challenge the model with idiomatic expressions, ambiguous phrases, formal and informal tones, and real-world scenarios.
• Suggest improvements to prompts, evaluation methods, and model behavior.

Requirements

• Must be located in South Korea.
• Strong command of Korean and English.
• Ability to communicate clearly and explain translation decisions thoughtfully.
• Background in professional translation, linguistics, localization, or language education is preferred.
• Ability to provide a secure computer and high-speed internet.

Nice to have

• Experience with technical, literary, or media translation.
