Quality Assurance Intern

TL;DR

Quality Assurance Intern (MedTech): Assisting the QA Engineering team with post-market complaint investigations, inspection planning, and quality management system documentation with an accent on compliance with federal and international standards. Focus on supporting corrective and preventive action projects, risk management file creation, and measurement systems analysis.

Location: Must be based in Gainesville, FL (Onsite)

What you will do

• Support post-market complaint investigations and product non-conformity resolutions.
• Assist in inspection planning, manufacturing quality planning, and execution.
• Contribute to the creation and assessment of risk management files.
• Help plan and execute automated programs and measurement systems analysis (MSA).
• Draft and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) SOPs, WIs, and forms.
• Participate in corrective and preventive action (CAPA) projects.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science, or equivalent.
• Must be in Junior or Senior year of Bachelor’s or final year of graduate program.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of or willingness to apply Quality System and relevant Federal and International standards.
