Location: Must be based in Vienna, Austria (Hybrid role).

Salary: Minimum gross EUR 2,968 per month (competitive market-based offer provided).

What you will do

• Scope and improve local procurement processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Act as the primary business partner for local stakeholders and the global procurement organization.
• Review the vendor landscape and implement preferred setups aligned with Roche Diagnostics global value propositions.
• Identify and execute cost-saving opportunities within local categories.
• Serve as the gatekeeper for purchases and vendor onboarding to ensure adherence to purchasing policies.
• Drive change management initiatives within a diverse stakeholder landscape.

Requirements

• Must be an EU citizen or hold a valid Austrian work permit.
• Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in procurement, project management, sourcing, or category management.
• Proficiency with SAP/GEP systems and standard office software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy as the sole representative for indirect local procurement.
