Environment Specialist (Fluent in French) - Freelance AI Trainer Project

Location: Remote, Switzerland

Salary: $8–$65 per hour, based on experience, expertise, and geographic location.

What you will do

• Challenge advanced language models with real-world environmental scenarios and theoretical questions in English and French.
• Evaluate factual accuracy, logical consistency, and model reasoning across environmental topics.
• Document reproducible failure modes and provide clear error traces.
• Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.
• Assess topics including carbon accounting, life cycle analysis, environmental remediation, water and air quality monitoring, biodiversity, and circular economy principles.

Requirements

• Expertise in environmental science, ecology, environmental engineering, or a closely related field.
• Fluency in French and the ability to converse with the model in both English and French.
• Knowledge of climate change, environmental impact assessment, pollution control, ecosystem management, biodiversity conservation, sustainability metrics, and environmental policy.
• Familiarity with French-speaking regional regulations, environmental assessments, sustainability reporting frameworks, and conservation strategies.
• Clear metacognitive communication and the ability to show the reasoning behind evaluations.
• A master’s degree in a relevant field and field or regulatory experience are ideal.
