Finance Business Partner

TL;DR

Finance Business Partner (Finance): Acting as a trusted advisor to the Product and Development organization to optimize financial performance and ensure project sustainability. Focus on budget creation, forecasting, project profitability analysis, and developing business cases to inform strategic investment decisions.

Location: Hybrid role (2-3 days/week) at our office in Östermalm, Stockholm.

What you will do

• Manage budget creation, forecasting, and project reporting for P&D initiatives.
• Monitor project progress using key performance indices like ROI and Cost Performance Index.
• Evaluate product profitability through standard cost calculations and resource planning.
• Collaborate with product management to develop and assess business cases.
• Track project costs and monitor deviations to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Requirements

• Equivalent of 6+ years of business controlling experience, ideally in R&D or product development.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong financial analysis skills and ability to present insights to senior management.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity from our Stockholm office.

Nice to have

• Experience using financial analysis tools such as Power BI or QlikView.
