Lead, IT Portfolio and Performance (IT Governance)

What you will do

• Translate IT strategy into roadmaps, OKRs/KPIs, and quarterly and annual execution plans.
• Run planning cycles, governance forums, portfolio reviews, progress checkpoints, and performance reporting.
• Prepare and facilitate IT Board decisions on product and initiative investments, changes, and decommissioning.
• Maintain portfolio transparency across scope, cost, capacity, benefits, risks, dependencies, and ownership.
• Partner with Product Managers on product lifecycle management and make total cost of ownership visible and optimized.
• Standardize IT ways of working, templates, routines, and metrics while coordinating compliance, risk, privacy, and audit readiness.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in IT leadership, strategy execution, governance, portfolio management, or operational excellence.
• Strong understanding of IT governance, performance management, operating models, and portfolio lifecycle management.
• Experience overseeing prioritization, planning, tracking, value, risk, and dependencies.
• Exposure to compliance, data privacy, and audit contexts, with the ability to translate requirements into practical controls.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and decision-support skills.
• Fluent English required; Swedish is a plus depending on the organization.

Nice to have

• Experience in a global product company, regulated environment, or complex enterprise IT landscape.
• Familiarity with ITIL, COBIT, Lean/Agile governance, or OKR-based execution.
• Experience implementing standardized reporting, portfolio tools, or governance routines at scale.
