Accountant

TL;DR

Accountant: Supporting the accounting team with financial operations including accounts payable, government remittances, and bank reconciliations. Focus on maintaining high accuracy in financial reporting and assisting with month-end processes in a fast-paced animation studio environment.

Location: Must be based in Vancouver, BC (Hybrid: 1 day per week in office required).

Salary: $49,920–$60,000 CAD

What you will do

• Process accounts payable.
• Prepare Workers Comp and BC EHT remittances.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
• Prepare GST/HST remittances.
• Prepare intercompany billback invoices.
• Assist with month-end working papers.

Requirements

• Post-secondary certificate, degree, or relevant training in accounting.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency with Excel.
• Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent grasp of English with strong communication skills.
• Must be able to work from the Vancouver office 1 day per week.

• Experience using NetSuite.
